Marrakech, Essaouira, Fes, Chefchaouen and Cassablanca

A Moroccan adventure is a vibrant journey of culture, history, and breathtaking landscapes. Wander through bustling souks, ride camels across the Sahara, and explore ancient medinas. Savor traditional tagine and mint tea while enjoying Berber music. From the blue streets of Chefchaouen to the majestic Atlas Mountains, every moment is rich with beauty and adventure, leaving unforgettable memories.

Join me for magical adventure through Morocco we will explore Marrakech, Fes, Essaouira, High Atlas Mountains, the Sahara and Casablanca, more than you can imagine.The retreat offers comfortable accommodations, great food, expert guides and a passionate host. There are many photography opportunities, landscape wildlife street photography to capture your adventure and create unforgettable memories.

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca or Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech : head to the vibrant Marrakech medina. Visit Jemaa el-Fna Square and experience the lively atmosphere of snake charmers, musicians, and food stalls.

Overnight in Marrakech medina including bed and breakfast.

Day 2 : Marrakech Guided Tour

Morning Exploration: Spend a day in Marrakech with a guided city tour that immerses you in its enchanting culture and history and capture amazing memories with your camera. This is a great place to embrace street and travel photography. Start at the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, then wander through the lively souks in the medina. Next, visit the historic Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs to learn about the city's rich architectural and dynastic heritage. Enjoy delicious Moroccan cuisine throughout the day and end your adventure at the bustling Jemaa el-Fna square, where you can enjoy captivating street performances and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.

Day 3 : Marrakech Free Day

Free Day: A free day in Marrakech allows you to fully immerse yourself in the city’s unique charm and explore at your own pace. This is a great opportunity to edit your photos from the previous day. A lightroom introductory lesson will be held on this day.

Day 4 : Marrakech To Essaouira

After breakfast, you'll travel to the captivating town of Essaouira. Renowned for its stunning beach and flourishing arts scene, this picturesque fishing town is a treasure trove of experiences.

Once we settle into our Riad there is free time to relax or wander the beautiful waterfront of Essaouira before a group Dinner.

Overnight in Essaouira Medina including bed and breakfast.

Day 5 : Essaouira Free Day

Enjoy the Essaouira at leisure wandering through streets lined with skilled craftsmen, explore quaint shops, and uncover hidden vistas. Essaouira's artisans and small boutiques offer a unique glimpse into local life and culture. Enjoy these gems along with the town's relaxed atmosphere and scenic beauty.

In the afternoon will take time to meet and edit and share our best shots so far. Have a delicious seafood meal and head out for to take unforgettable sunset photos.

Day 6 : Essaouira back to Marrakech

After a day of exploration photography and discovery, you'll return to Marrakech.

Group dinner or free evening.

Day 7 : Marrakech To Dades Valley via Kasbah Ait Benhaddou

Driving through the majestic high Atlas Mountains, passing Berber villages and lush valleys. Explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a fortified village steeped in history and culture. We will make stop to capture the majestic landscape of the High Atas Mountains to add to your many memorable photos you will take.

Overnight in Dades Valley including dinner and breakfast

Day 8 : Dades Valley To Sahara Desert

Stop at the Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs rise dramatically from the desert floor, creating a spectacular canyon landscape. Make perfect photo opportunities. Driving to Desert Erg Chebbi, upon arrival, You will meet your camel caravan at the end of the road and make the 1 hour trek to reach your desert camp for the night. Enjoy more unforgettable sunset photography at the dunes and dine before enjoying the campfire and stargazing, where we will practice our Astro photography.

Day 9 : Sahara Desert

We will visit the nomads in the Sahara Desert and enjoy the rest of the day at the camp. This is a relaxing day to edit photos, connect with other retreaters and embrace the magic of the Sahara.

Day 10 : Sahara Desert To Fes

Wake up early to admire and photograph the desert sunrise, Enjoy breakfast, then transfer out of the dunes by camel-back to rejoin your vehicle to take the road to Fes (or if you are traveling by 4×4, you can be collected at the camp)( take this line out). Pass through the spectacular Ziz River gorge where we will stop to capture the beautiful landscape of the gorge with our cameras before traversing the Middle Atlas Mountains (at approx. 1900m). On the north of the mountains, you take in part of Morocco’s vast cedar forests (close to Azrou), where we will stop again for more photography opportunities before reaching Fes late afternoon.

Day 11 : Fes Exploration

Wander the ancient medina with its narrow streets and historic buildings. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Al-Attarine Madrasa for intricate architectural shots and Capture the bustling activity in the famous tanneries of Fes. A great day to embrace street photography and shopping.

Day 12 : Fes to Chefchaouen

After your breakfast, We depart to Chefchaouen; the Bleu City crossing the Rif Mountains, Where we capture more unforgettable photos

Settle into our Rian then enjoy the rest of the day getting lost in the fascinating bleu painted streets of the town before a group dinner.

Day 13 : Chefchaouen at Leisure

Enjoy the charming blue alleyways, whitewashed buildings, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains that make this town truly magical where we venture out as a group for photos and lunch then return to the Riad to relax before another delicious Moroccan meal.

Day 14 : Travel to Casablanca

Drive to Casablanca as we make a few stops along the way to capture the countryside by camera.

Visit Hassan II Mosque where will take some of the most memorable photos before having dinner at the famous Rick’s Café.

Overnight in Casablanca including bed and breakfast.

Day 15 : Transfer to the airport at your flight time
